Edufest @ Pagoh Carnival 2009 was held on October 24 to 25, 2009 at the Dewan Jubli Intan of Sultan Ibrahim, Muar, Johor and was launched by Y.A.B. Tan Sri Dato Muhyiddin bin Mohd Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education.
This Carnival was the first education and career fair organized by the Sekretariat Pendidikan Parlimen Pagoh. The purpose of this event was to expose a large number of Johor students to a range of educational and job opportunities.
Robotics Learning (M) Sdn. Bhd. made its first public appearance at this Edufest event with the aim of introducing VEX Educational Robotics to these students who came from around Muar and from other parts of Johor.
Increasingly throughout the Developed World, Educational Robotics classroom based training and curriculum are transforming children’s enjoyment of, ability in and understanding of a range of topics such as the STEM (Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects and the Arts, as well as improving their many soft skills such as team-building, creative thinking, time management and systematic planning.
